Better humans, better humanity

This time around I thought to let people into my business philosophy and the title of this blog. As with anything it came to me out of work hours. It just came to me while listening to my favourite tunes, mostly because of the through line of all my work. Holistic coaching, speaking, activism and musician all involve working with humans and improving things.

All of these things usually involve using my knowledge to create something new, or taking the well known and highlighting the key points through reflection and careful curation. I didn’t understand all the big words I’m using now until one day when my friends came to me for advice.

My friends looked to me about relationships, families, work etc. After taking a direct ‘fix’ result for a while, I found people came back with the same problem but exacerbated…by not following my advice in the first place. So I learnt to take a more reflective approach, then things changed. People backed off because…it scared some people.

Back in my mid twenties, I wasn’t ready for where I am now. However, after a decade passed and some living experience I discovered coaching, which fitted alongside all my other activities. After two years of learning on the go, this is my third year and my most challenging but also rewarding so far.

An injury in March set me back a lot, but I learnt a lot as well during…in terms of pain and what I want from business. Now, I’m focussed on developing things for the rest of the year and growing my client base over the next two years. Remembering my ethos is also what guides me, especially as I grow from just individuals to businesses and corporations.

Until next time folks, after this bit of business insight #BetterHumansBetterHumanity
