Samhain and Embracing Infinity

I’m always thinking of that time when I was with friends in Seattle five years ago for Halloween (or Samhain) and how I really let my hair down. So much has changed since then, but in some ways I see change or transformation is more letting layers emerge that were once unconscious become conscious.

Its like peeling on onion, an orange or taking a plane ride to another country. You think you can see the entirety of everything where you stand, but once you get high enough your perspective changes massively. It makes me think about seeing things in a holistic way.

How all the incremental changes add up over time having a bigger effect, like rivers moving through the river bed carving paths and tributaries in its wake. How simple changes can drastically change how things move. I think how all the things that brought me to this specific place and time. Out of all the choices, paths and options I’m here writing this and you’re reading it through a smartphone, tablet or even a desktop somewhere in the world.

Its why I sign off my post with #embraceinfinity I realise that I could be anywhere and so can you. Its embracing the moment and realising out of all the things you cannot control, you have control of the now. You have the option to change, grow, pivot and turn things around. It may take work, but what doesn’t take work?! Its asking the hard questions that I ask my clients.

The sneaky ones that you can only see out of the corner of your eye. The ones that seem to drip out of the workouts in sweat. The ones that sit and poke you in your sleep. The ones that chase you around like a ghost. Until you find a way of grabbing hold of those questions yourself without fear or anxiety. Its the reflection of everything.

Until then #embraceinfinity
