The Love Deep Inside
I’ve had a busy few days digging deep down. Before this I relied a lot on external qualifiers and integers for higher powers. I fell for Christianity at a young in the hope of a better life, but I ended up surrounded by a lot of partial truths, charlatans and lies. Not until (funnily enough) the lockdown have I truly had room to explore and ask some harder questions internally.
Mostly where my true spiritual intuitions lie. I do read astrology but I always do so with a loose hand and a general eye rather than a detailed one. However I did find myself drawn to elements of fire and earth. I could see the split within me. I could understand it even more as I stripped back the layers of self, getting closer to my core values and mindsets.

Had a brilliant time last night at an online Zoom party. We talked about spirituality, especially from a decolonised point of view. It was just a time where we all shared and for me, it was an awakening of what was going on within. Where my heart lies, which has always been between fire and earth.
As I sat down with my headphones to write, I found a lyric once again that jumped out to me ‘So stop fading away from the love that’s within you. The love that continues’
That love is really what keeps me moving towards all of my disciplines. Coaching my clients, speaking up for my trans siblings, writing music and getting better at blogging. Start doing what I love, even when days it feels a bit dry. That’s really what a spiritual path and love is: growth.
